All of We Care Plumbing, Heating, & Air’s managers and many of our technicians hold the prestigious title of being NATE certified…but what does that mean?
NATE stands for North American Technician Excellence. The NATE organization sets the absolute highest standards for the HVAC industry in terms of the technician knowledge base.
In order to receive a NATE certification, a technician must display their knowledge of the industry by taking a long, rigorous test. This test challenges their knowledge of a specialty area of their choice; areas that technicians can test for include air conditioning, gas and oil heating, and air distribution. Most specialty areas have separate tests for installation and service. A technician can receive as many certifications as they want, as long as they pass the test.
So, the next time a NATE certified We Care Plumbing, Heating, & Air technician comes to your house, we hope it gives you peace of mind knowing that your assigned technician spent hours studying and preparing, just so they could perform excellent work on your home.
