Many common plumbing problems can be easily fixed with a little dedication and elbow grease.

- If your sink or bathtub is clogged, try unscrewing the pop-up drain and running a drain snake down to catch any hair that may be causing the stoppage. There may also be hair caught on the pop-up as well. If that doesn’t fix your problem in your sink, try checking the sink trap for blockages. Call a We Care Plumbing, Heating, & Air professional if you try these solutions and your problem continues.
- If your toilet is continuously running, try reaching into the tank and jiggling the toilet stopper attached to a small chain. Sometimes the stopper can come loose, causing your toilet to constantly run and recycle water.
- If your garbage disposal is jammed, take a 1/4″ Allen Wrench, go under your sink, and find the small hole on the bottom of the disposal to insert it into. Turn it a couple of times in both directions to free up the motor. Be sure to always run your water when running the garbage disposal.
